These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of www.roverstown.com (“Website”), operated by Rovers Town Coffee, a brand owned and managed by Muddy Tales (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using this Website, you agree to these Terms. This document is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and does not require physical or digital signatures.

These Terms are published in accordance with Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011 and Rule 4 of the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

1. About Rovers Town Coffee

Rovers Town Coffee is a specialty coffee brand focused on fresh Indian coffees for home brewers and everyday drinkers. We currently ship across India. International availability may be added in the future, and these Terms will be updated accordingly.

Our catalogue includes whole beans, ground coffee, pour-over bags, cold brew packs, and related products. Orders placed on the Website are processed, packed, and shipped from our facility or from partner roasteries.

Shipping, returns, and refund policies are published separately and form part of these Terms.

2. Acceptance of Terms

Your use of the Website confirms your acceptance of these Terms and any future amendments. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Website.

These Terms operate alongside our Privacy Policy. Termination of one terminates the other.

3. Registration and Eligibility

You may browse the Website without creating an account. For purchases, you may need to provide:

  • Full name

  • Mobile number

  • Email address

  • Complete delivery address (with PIN code)

By using the Website, you confirm that you are legally competent to enter into binding contracts under Indian law.

4. Content and Intellectual Property

All content on the Website—including product images, packaging designs, text, graphics, brand elements, and artwork—is protected under Indian copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission from us.

We may display third-party content where relevant, but we are not responsible for the accuracy, quality, or reliability of such content.

5. Orders, Payments, Cancellations & Returns

Orders and Payments

Placing an order means you intend to complete the purchase after successful payment. We reserve the right to reject or cancel an order due to incorrect information, stock issues, or operational constraints.

Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled only before they are shipped.

  • Once an order is in transit, it cannot be cancelled.

Delivery Attempts

If delivery fails after multiple attempts due to customer unavailability or incorrect address, the package may return to origin. Refunds (minus shipping fees) will be processed once the package returns.

Returns and Refunds

Returns are accepted only in specific cases:

  • Damaged, tampered, or defective products

  • Incorrect items delivered

Refunds will be initiated after verification and will reflect in the customer’s original payment method within timelines provided by the payment gateway (usually 6–8 working days).

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide truthful and updated information

  • Not misuse or disrupt Website functionality

  • Not bypass any security mechanisms

  • Not interfere with servers, networks, or related systems

  • Not upload unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, misleading, or abusive content

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

Your only remedy for dissatisfaction is to discontinue use of the Website.

12. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved through arbitration by a sole arbitrator appointed by us.
Arbitration will take place in Mumbai, Maharashtra, in English.

14. Miscellaneous
